Supply Room Associate

The supply room associate requires daily interaction with customers, vendors, and coworkers to accomplish supply of material items needed to support a manufacturing operation and aircraft service department. Administrative tasks that are required to manage inventory, perform job costing and general office administration accompanies these responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments of parts and components.
- Pick, pack, and ship customer and dealer orders accurately and on time. Shipping and receiving via UPS/USPS/FedEx/Freight Load. Prepare shipping documents, labels, and freight arrangements
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Assist with labeling, tagging, and merchandising shelves.
- Set and manage reorder levels on all inventory & shop supplies.
- Assist with container unloading, palletizing, restocking, and forklift operations, and the management and application for package consumables material.
- Monitor warehouse supplies, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to safety standards.
- Support annual physical inventory and ongoing process improvements.
- Prepare all purchase orders.
- Provide superior customer service and eagerness to help.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply/logistics type position.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong customer communication and sales skills.
- Ability to learn technical product knowledge quickly.
- Comfort working in busy environments with constant customer interaction.
- Reliable, organized, and detail oriented.
