Supply Room Associate

The supply room associate requires daily interaction with customers, vendors, and coworkers to accomplish supply of material items needed to support a manufacturing operation and aircraft service department. Administrative tasks that are required to manage inventory, perform job costing and general office administration accompanies these responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments of parts and components.
  • Pick, pack, and ship customer and dealer orders accurately and on time.  Shipping and receiving via UPS/USPS/FedEx/Freight Load. Prepare shipping documents, labels, and freight arrangements
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Assist with labeling, tagging, and merchandising shelves.
  • Set and manage reorder levels on all inventory & shop supplies.
  • Assist with container unloading, palletizing, restocking, and forklift operations, and the management and application for package consumables material.
  • Monitor warehouse supplies, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to safety standards.
  • Support annual physical inventory and ongoing process improvements.
  • Prepare all purchase orders.
  • Provide superior customer service and eagerness to help.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply/logistics type position.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong customer communication and sales skills.
  • Ability to learn technical product knowledge quickly.
  • Comfort working in busy environments with constant customer interaction.
  • Reliable, organized, and detail oriented.
